Biobased leather is a kind of plant - based leather. It is biodegradable, environmentally friendly, non - toxic and harmless, resistant to hydrolysis, and is a vegetarian leather without any animal components，100% vegan leather .our Daocheng  Biobased leather  is made of corn starch. Corn starch can be used to produce non - petroleum - derived propylene glycol. You need to add enzymes and microorganisms to convert corn starch into propylene glycol, and then we use propylene glycol to manufacture biobased leather. The following is the flow chart for manufacturing propylene glycol:
